largesse

An expansive and expensive word. It sounds like one big letter but is written with eight small ones. It begins by opening the mouth and the mind – and the wallet. The largeness it presents is no accident other than that of birth: before it was big money, it was simply bigness, French style – with that smooth, sliding ending, tout via bien… avec finesse. Live large, yes?
